Today took Matti in the school for a short session. Kept everything nice and simple, focusing on rhythm and a little on bend. Did lots of transitions/ rein changes (in walk and trot) too because sometimes he tries to anticipate canter work and then gets his knickers in a twist! He was relaxed today though and did some nice stretchy work all by himself.

Took Matti out for another short hack today. He was a bit bouncier today, but still very good.Did some very light neck flexion from side to side which he was fine with and he was even keeping himself long and low (default position is normally ears in my face), so hopefully he is more comfortable now.

Matti had his physio session with LAW Animal Physiotherapy as he's not been quite right. He was a bit sore over his back, most likely due to the fact he's started to bulk up so his dressage saddle is a bit tight. Tried the wintec on him and this fits him much better at the moment. He was falling asleep by the end so think he enjoyed his session. He will have a couple of days off, then I will start bringing him back into work.

After Matti's physio session on Wednesday, I took him out for a short hack this evening. He was very good and felt relaxed and loose. Will hack for a couple more days, then try a small session in the school.

Morning Yard
Put Pickles in round pen with hay and feed. Still had some water. Checked Amber, Matti & Henley in the field and they were fine. Skipped out stable and did hay, feed and water for Pickles. Took Tilly and Blue out for a short walk. Brought Blue and Polo to office with me.
Walked the dog 0.87 Mi
Took Echo and Blue for a walk. Did the 'P'. Let Blue off lead. Both very good.
Morning Yard
Brought in 4, fed 7, turned 7 out. Put out hay for small field and got ready tonight's & tomorrow's. Let ducks & Chickens out. Mucked 2 out, and did hay, feeds and water. Walked Echo and Blue via IFTTT
Matti physio session
Had Laura out for Matti as he has been a bit 'off' the last couple of times I have ridden him. He was a bit stiff/ sore in his back muscles, but was fine elsewhere. His dressage saddle is now a little tight for him, so this is probably what has made him a bit uncomfortable. The wintec fits him fine though and can use the half pad underneath for extra comfort without being too bulky. Plan is to give him today and tomorrow off, then hack over the weekend before taking him in the school for some gentle work to see how he is. Shouldn't need a follow up unless any more problems arise.
Been a very long, busy but good weekend with work
