So today I actually got to spend some time with Amber & Matti. I even rode them ( not sure who was more shocked about that to be honest). Both were a little fresh shall we say, and Amber has forgotten how to stand at the mounting block, but considering it's been a while I was very pleased with them.

Going through a bit of a heavy metal/ rock phase again and having caught this song a few times on the Kerrang channel, it's stuck in my head at the moment (along with another that will feature in another post)

16things#9 Get More Organised

I have been working on this and have got a few ideas which I am currently putting into place. One plan is to reduce the number of diaries etc used to write things down, because otherwise I either forgot, or just don't get round to filling all of them in!  Currently (and not including work related stuff), I have a calendar, diary, Filofax, google calendar, to do list book, various other note pads and folders for each of the horses/ dogs. In addition I have 3 journal apps too, plus this blog so it's no wonder I am struggling - I think I am trying to be too organised! Realistically, I can use my Filofax for most of the bits I need, such as diary, important dates and to do lists. Also I do like to have a calendar as it is useful for both of us to just have a quick glance to see what is happening over the next month or so. But it is not just me who forgets to keep that up to date if I am honest. The folders for the horses are used to keep details on weight, feed, ve...

A late update!

A quick review and a few more changes have been added for the last quarter of the year. It doesn't seem like 9 months ago I was planning my #16things and now it's nearly October! 1 Fix horsebox Aim is still to get Frog finished and MOT done by the end of October. She had to go on the back burner for a while due to OZ (the work van) breaking down and confusing our mechanic as to what is wrong. 2 A new challenge I've decided to scrap the licence idea for now. Instead I am going to use this slot to chart my fundrasing for charities for the rest of the year. First is Walk All Over Cancer for Cancer Research UK. For this I have to walk 10000 steps everyday of September. Hot on the heels of that is Sober For October. I don't really drink a huge amount so it might not be a biggie to complete, but at least I can hopefully raise funds for MacMillian Cancer Support. Had an amazing time watching Jean Micheal Jarre. Although I am probably worse than Simon now for admiring all the pretty lights and asking if we can have them for work!!! I also want a laser harp, it's incredible! Here is an example of the harp in action - this not my video, but taken from the concert: The whole show was amazing - the music of course, but also the lighting and special effects are jaw dropping. It was great to hear some new tracks as well as old favorites. 16things October Update

October has not been a great month for the 16things as ridiculous amount of hours working and being ill since the end of September has not really given me much down time. In fact, I ran out of my meds at the beginning of October and still have not had a chance to put my repeat prescription in yet!  In short I'm anxious, ill, anxious, depressed, anxious, stressed, anxious, knackered and a bit more stressed. Did I mention I'm anxious? 1 Fix horsebox Still not fixed and I've found more knackered bits on it so I'm not sure if it will be fixable. I am seriously considering giving up if that is the case. 2 Charity  Fundraising Walk All Over Cancer for Cancer Research UK. I was pretty pleased that I managed to achieve this one and raised £10 in doing so. Sober For October  for MacMillian Cancer Support. Completed this one too and raised another £10!
