26th November Pole work clinic

Matti had his third outing of the week on Sunday - slight mis-planning on my part but I can honestly say that Matti has not struggled with doing any of them (I certainly am the more unfit out of the two of us!). We went to another polework clinic, this time with Gemma Sayers.

Matti was rather enthusiastic and a bit 'Mum, I've got this'! Gemma got us to work on curves instead of straight lines so he didn't anticipate so much. It worked, even when in canter and with raised poles and he worked really well once he let me be in charge! With all these clinics and working over poles, his trot and canter have really improved, he feels more up and bouncy rather than long and flat.

We have a bit of time off, until the 17th when we have another lesson, unless I can persuade Simon to take up to one on the 10th December! i certainly have the learning bug at the moment and I am sure Matti has too, he really seems to enjoy having to use his brain.

I will add a couple of videos later as they are on the laptop.
